Character

1. Character arc: The main character wanted to grow taller and bigger, but he doesn't realize that he could use his small stature to his advantage. He realizes, then, that soccer is not all about size.

2. Peeling the Onion: Injury doesn't stop him from training.

3. Universal Empathy: Character is good at soccer, and displays kindness to others by always encouraging the other players

4. Protagonist: (Round/Dynamic) The main character (boy). He drinks milk and eats a lot of vitamins/proteins in hopes to grow stronger and bigger. He uses his small stature to his advantage later on.

5. Antagonist: (Flat/Static) Other players. They all want to play soccer, but don't train as much. They don't change.

6. Minor character: (Flat/Static) His coach. He just gives advice and watches the players play

Conflict

1. Tension: The boy is competing against other players to get the starting position in soccer and ultimately become one of the best in the soccer competition.

2. Character Lock:  He drinks milk and eats a lot of vitamins/proteins in hopes to grow stronger and bigger. He doesn't get much bigger, but he gains self confidence in himself. He uses his small stature to his advantage later on.

3. Forced Action: The boy tries to play like a big player (with more physicality than technique), but he changes to play like a smaller player (with more technique than physicality)

4. High Stakes: It's his last season in the school. He wants to make an impact in the team and the competition.

Low Stakes: He needs to show up to try outs. However, he is very confident that he can get into the team.

Plants & Payoffs

1. Plant & Payoff: The boy is reminded of the first few matches of the season, in which he will be able to prove his skills.

2. Throughline: The boy wants to play to be the best and practices soccer. The boy gets into the soccer team. The boy wants to display his skills and help the team win.

Plot

1. Catalyst: It's his last season at the school. Thus, he wants to prove himself in soccer, before he leaves.

2. Conflict: The boy is competing against other players to get the starting position in soccer and ultimately become one of the best in the soccer competition. Will he get the starting position?
